Leap Frog
|
$120.00 |
This was a Round Robin with some friends. Each of the 5 of us brought a simple block and then we each took a turn adding to each other's block. The only requirement was that is stay in the green, black or white color families. We then completed our changed block ourselves. |

End of the Season
|
$700.00 |
I wanted to show how the day lilly stalks I pulled from my garden could have a life after "death." I cut the stalks and stiched them together by hand and then attached fiber leaves that I created with various strips of fabric, fibers and stitching. |

Night Time Garden

$700.00 |
The veil of night time is created by using a foundation of sheer black organza. A layer of black batting was cut as a layer of shadow for the vibrant hand dyed flowers and vine. |

Color My World Happy

I started with a selected collection of batiks which seemed "happy" to me. I intuitively placed the fabrics in a collage and added the hand dyed flowers to add extra happy! |

Sunny Side of the Street
The soft, sunny yellow fabric in this quilt inspired the name. It is a triple Irish Chain pattern with the other chains being a solid peach and a grassy green check. The original quilting designs are stitched in a green thread to stand out in the white areas inside the chains and in the borders. Flower wreaths and vines, a feather swirl, leaves and zig zag and undilating line make up the quilting designs. The back is the same solid peach to make a beautifully stitched back that you will want to flip over just to look at the stitching!
