Original Art Quilt.
I used a marbeling dye process to create the organic shapes and then collaged with more linear elements for contrast. I added ribbons, yarns, buttons and beads for more texture. |

Potluck Picnic
This appealing quilt has so many fabrics in it, it could go with many color schemes, but it is consistent in it's red star points and cranberry checked backing. It is a 2 block combination designed by Marti Mitchell using traditional Fight and Corn and Beans block patterns. The quilting is done with my own design called "Curly Q" in tan thread.

Remove selvages
![](art/pixel.gif)
Because selvages are woven so tightly, remove them from any seams or edges of the top and lining to be quilted.
