This was a Round Robin with some friends. Each of the 5 of us brought a simple block and then we each took a turn adding to each other's block. The only requirement was that is stay in the green, black or white color families. We then completed our changed block ourselves. |

End of the Season

I wanted to show how the day lilly stalks I pulled from my garden could have a life after "death." I cut the stalks and stiched them together by hand and then attached fiber leaves that I created with various strips of fabric, fibers and stitching. |

Night Time Garden

The veil of night time is created by using a foundation of sheer black organza. A layer of black batting was cut as a layer of shadow for the vibrant hand dyed flowers and vine. |

Lightly spritz fabric with spray starch and press before cutting triangle patches to stabilize bias edges.
